Our representative and our founder Teisuke Terao has been in Brazil since he was 21 years old. He came all the way from Japan and has been going through trials to find the one and only Propolis. He was doing business with honeys and realized the existence of Propolis. He was very weak at the time and started to drink Propolis for his own health, and soon later, finds out that Propolis has an amazing effect on making people healthy.
It took years for him to find the actual Propolis with the right color, taste and scent. Finally, in 1988, in South Gerais, Formiga city, there was a very plateau area and a very dark green colored Propolis was found. This dark green colored Propolis can only be found at the 700m-1000m high mountain in Formiga. It is 100% natural and we realized that it is a very rare Propolis that could ever be found.
Then, with small numbers of researchers, we decided to take more research into it and found this to be called, Green Propolis. Soon on, the factory in Brazil became bigger and changed its name to, Brazil Terao Yoho Company (in Portugal: Apiário Terao).
